All valves and actuator components are painted under the supervision of our NACE Level II engineers in customised high efficiency, dry suction type paint booth which regulates the coating thickness as per the requirement and avoids overspray. The environment condition monitoring and surface preparation monitoring is done in addition to salt content measurement, wet bulb testing, DFT measurement, pin hole detection, pull test and adhesion test are conducted to ensure consistent and highly reliable coating suitable for the most demanding offshore applications. Surface preparation for the actuator components is carried out in a fully automated blasting booth and valves in a customised booth to ensure removal of all surface contaminants and adequate surface preparation for the painting. Separate blast media are used to prevent free-iron contamination of stainless steel parts.
